Commissions
There’s something special about bringing an idea to life, brick by brick. Whether you’re looking for a unique display piece, a large-scale build for an event, or a custom model designed just for you, commissions are the perfect way to turn your vision into reality.
From the first conversation to the final delivery, each commission is a collaborative process. I’ll work closely with you to understand your ideas, share updates along the way, and ensure the finished model is exactly what you imagined—crafted entirely from genuine LEGO® bricks and built to last.
Below you’ll find answers to some of the most common questions about the process, from timelines and materials to shipping and event displays.

Frequent Questions
How do commissions work?
The commission process starts with a conversation about what you’d like to have built. We discuss the type of model(s) you’re looking for, your budget, and the time frame for the project.
Throughout the building process, I send updates and progress pictures. I’ll ask questions and get your feedback about the design to make sure it matches your vision.
How long does a commission take?
Every project is different, but the time required for a custom LEGO model—from initial inquiry to final delivery—is about four weeks. Large builds or convention displays may take 8-12 weeks depending on the size and complexity.
How do I start the process?
Once we agree on the model and pricing, I ask for a deposit to place an order for parts. The final invoice will be sent after the model has been delivered.
Do you glue the models?
Yes, unless otherwise requested, all models are built with an adhesive solvent that allows for stability in shipping and display.
Where do you get your pieces?
I only use LEGO bricks and pieces, and I order them directly from LEGO.
How are finished models delivered?
They are professionally wrapped and shipped as insured art. Shipping costs are added to the final invoice.
Can you make instructions so I can build it myself?
I make stand-alone pieces that are fully built and ready to display. I do not make sets that come with instructions.
